GReddy introduces its Type R suspension systems specifically for circuit racing with popular late-model high-performance vehicles. The new system features a double-adjustable damping mechanism that delivers 32 positions of damping compression and rebound adjustability. Each strut features a thin-walled steel case for strength and lightweight durability. A lightweight external-forged aluminum reservoir enables the system to increase damping fluid displacement. The range of dampening even allows for adjustability for street driving. Coilovers with external reservoirs we're in love.

Carbonetic takes clutches to new heights. This new triple-system clutch design has a total of nine carbon discs grabbing each other. From the floating disc to friction disc to the pressure plate, everything is carbon. With drag racing in mind, it is built to handle 1,500 whp and 1,500 ft-lb of torque. Yes, only for the truly hardcore, so, of course, it is currently only offered for 2JZ and RB26 applications. Carbonetic does offer the six-disc triple clutch kit for other cars like the EVO. And if they don't have your particular application, they can custom-build you one. Carbon clutch systems are available in single, double or triple systems.

AEM's Engine Management System now has ETC to control late model WRX STI cars with factory drive-by-wire systems. Factory drive-by-wire (DBW) systems are designed so the accelerator-position to throttle-position transfer functions for optimum emissions and fuel economy, resulting in a lag of power. In other cases, the OEM drive-by-wire systems will deliver a sense of "perceived performance" by providing more open throttle than actual pedal input (for instance, 30-percent pedal input with 70-percent throttle opening event response). AEM's ETC unit was designed with throttle response as a priority. It is calibrated to deliver direct 1:1 throttle opening response. It's about time the aftermarket world caught up with DBW cars.
