Griffin Evolve Wireless Sound System
I accidentally spilled a beer on my friend's stash and he won't let it go. In an attempt to smooth things over, I spent an entire weekend helping him set up his surround sound system. Since he smokes a lot, it is important for him to have the perfect setup, which makes little sense because from what I've heard all he listens to is lo-fi Dave Mathews Band bootlegs. So after 10 hours of cables, nails, mounts and general frustration, he was dialed in and I was over it. When it comes to my own system I'm just going to cop the Evolve from Griffin, because all you do is plug in your iPod and take the portable speakers with you anywhere in your apartment.

Logitech Harmony 1000 Remote
I love crazy-looking remote controls. Granted my apartment is so small I can touch opposite walls with each arm, my sh*t system sounds like an AM radio playing in a coffee can and with my gut from drinking beer, I really don't need any more excuses to not get off the couch.

Irobot Looj Gutter Cleaning Robot
It's not that I mean to pass out in the gutter at the end of a night of drinking; I just always seem to fall off the curb. Luckily for me the iRobot Looj (did IKEA name this thing?) is built to clean out gutters and will come along and slap me awake, clean the puke off my shirt and point me in the right direction home. Oh wrong kind of gutter... sh*t.

Nikon Coolpix L14
I'm really getting tired of every gadget I have using a different power source, cord or charger. Every plug in my house is overloaded and it's only a matter of time before I make every fool in my apartment complex homeless from a fire. If only someone would invent a simple power source that I could buy at any liquor store. Oh wait, it's called a battery. The people at Nikon must be as over it as me, the new Coolpix L14 runs on AA batteries and is intuitive to use.

The new YP-T10 media player from Samsung is super slim, lightweight and comes in enough colors to appease everyone. The features combine an audio player, radio, photo album, Bluetooth, videos and more in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB sizes. Now this is where it starts to get a bit weird, a "fun character has been created to guide users through the menu." It's an animated puppy named Sam. No lie, that's too weird for me to even make up.

I was originally drawn to this product because I thought that Sony Ericsson had finally started working on the new Death Star. Wasn't I bummed to find out this is really only a couple inches tall and currently only plays songs from your phone wirelessly. I still think it's a good prototype.

Griffin Reflect
If I read the info on the Griffin Reflect correctly, it's saying that until you wake up your phone up the screen shows through the surface of the case has a seamless chrome appearance. I'm not sure how that actually works, but I don't trust it and it scares me. I'm not going to even try to get to know this stupid Reflect; I'm just going to condemn it. I am recommending instead of an open dialog and policy of understanding we respond with hate and intolerance. I'm not going to lose my job to it and there's no way a Reflect is going to marry my daughter. Damn you, Reflect; go back to where you came from.

Sony PRS-505 Digital Reader
I started writing this making fun of people who read books and think they're all smart and sh*t. But as I read the press release, it dawned on me that maybe this thing is pretty cool. The worst part about reading is that you have to carry books and as we all know, people who carry books are crazy. If you don't believe me go to one of those library places and look at all the nut jobs. With the new Sony Reader I might actually start reading on the sly with books I download from the Internet; I could probably benefit from a self-help book or two.

Totally radical! This contraption is actually for people who are way too into video games. But I don't judge and I don't think that just because you can't pull a chick and still live at home you should have to suffer with carpal tunnel pain.
