The Focus is Ford's entry-level car and is made with great handling features since it also is sold worldwide. It's available in a number of body styles, from a hatchback to a four-door sedan. You should rotate the tires about every 5,000 miles.
Make sure tires are all the same age when doing full rotation. Change tires from side to side if tires are different sizes in front and back.
Park the car on a flat surface and place a piece of wood behind the back tires to keep the car from rolling while you jack up the front of the car. Loosen all the lug nuts on each of the tires.
Place two jacks under the front of the vehicle, one on each side and then lift the rear up on another two jack stands. Jack up the car leaving just enough room to take off tires.
Move the passenger side rear tire to the front, and the passenger side front to the driver side rear. Switch the driver side rear tire to the front and the driver side front tire to the passenger side rear. Tighten the lug nuts snuggly, but not completely.
Lower the rear first and replace the wood behind the tires. Lower the front end and then go around and tighten each lug nut to its tightest fit. If on a lift, lower the whole car and tighten lug nuts.
Adjust the front and rear tire pressure. Find the correct tire pressure on a sticker inside driver's door.
