Vortech Infiniti G35 Sedan Supercharger Installation - Super Street Magazine

Nobody has to give me crap about buying an automatic G35 sedan instead of the six-speed coupe. Nads does that enough for the entire Super Street nation (I mean c'mon, a sedan?! I'm old, and I don't even rock a sedan. - JN). But just because I'm rolling the four-door doesn't mean that it's gotta be a slow cruiser. Vortech made sure of that with their CARB-approved (EO# D-213-22) supercharger kit which works on the G35 (sedan and coupe), 350Z, and probably the rest of the rear-wheel-drive VQ35DE-equipped Nissans.

We're looking at a minimum 100hp gain to the wheels at 8 psi and even more with the race version of the kit. Manual trannys have no problems, but the revs come up so quickly that some autos might not shift in time. It's recommended to keep the auto tranny in manual mode when going into boost. I didn't have any problems with my car, but there are some shops that can raise the rev-limiter on your factory ECU to combat this problem. Also, SGP Racing offers a valve body upgrade for more solid shifts on the slushbox. The kit is a complete bolt-on and comes with everything you need.
