We're up to our sixth installment of this series and as you can probably tell we've encountered our fair share of delays. We'd hoped to be much further along, but so many unforeseen snafus affected the progress of the project that we just resigned ourselves to the Tao of drag car building. This has been a tremendous learning experience for us, and a frustrating one, too.
In any event, we're nearing the end of the construction phases and will be soon entering the realm of tuning and ultimately racing. For this chapter we're putting the last touches on the motor, and in months to come the last of the interior and exterior pieces will be dialed in. It should be noted that much of what you see here can be done, and is probably easier to do, when the motor is actually in the engine compartment, but for the sake of clarity we're doing our wrenching on the engine stand.
