All right, it's time to put up or shut up as the Castrol Syntec Top Shop Challenge is about to go down and we got the word from our main man Bisi Ezerioha from Bisimoto that our F22A engine is finished and ready to wipe the oil from the dyno floor with our competitors' engines.

So what has Bisi been up to since last month? Here's what he had to say, "We decided to put the engine in a chassis, a '94 Civic hatchback and we're doing significant testing, tuning and thrashing to get a better idea of how it will withstand the torture tests. We've recruited the assistance of two companies to help us adapt the engine to the dyno: Bonaco Performance Fittings from Upland, CA who will supply us with all the proper A-N fittings and also Electronics Management, a company who regularly works on the Bisimoto race cars, to supply us with proper shielded wiring."

According to Bisi, he feels some of the competitors aren't up to fully meeting the challenge and are half-assing it with off the shelf parts attached to engines pulled from already existing, fully tuned cars, which may or may not have been built by them. Says Bisi, "We're using this opportunity to show our skills. We're using an engine that is lackluster and very cost effective. Anyone can go to a junkyard, pick up an engine for $200 and do what we're doing, which is properly building an engine to gain impeccable power. We want to show what we're made of and not take the easy route. We plan on competing and winning fair and square."

We wholeheartedly agree. Reeespect!
