Product Test: Black Magic Bleche-Blak Black Wall Tire Cleaner

Our long-term 2012 Nissan Frontier recently went off-roading in Hungry Valley, California, as a support vehicle during a recent video shoot for Motor Trend's WOT. Though it's fun to get our truck dirty, getting that dirt off the vehicle can be a headache -- especially with the tires.   |   Before We ran our Frontier through an average carwash the following day. The paint came clean, but the tires were left with a dirty-looking residue. Most carwashes cover the dirt with tire-shine products that last only till your next visit. But if you're like us, when it comes to cleaning your truck, you don't want sticky tire shine on your tires. We all know what happens when you go off-roading with sticky tire dressing, you collect a thinker layer of grimee and dirt that's even harder to clean off. Black Magic's Bleche-Blak Black Wall Tire Cleaner is easy to use. We simply sprayed the tires, let them sit for a minute or so, then wiped them with a rag (or brush), rinse the wheel with water, and then towel dry. Black Magic recommends a second application for tougher scuffs. Our tires were back to their original black rubber as if we had never gone off-road.   |   After Price: $5 for a 32-fl-oz spray Bottle
