Put some step into your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD Diesel with AMP Research's new PowerStep power-retractable running board. The PowerStep automatically extends and lowers when a door is opened and retracts under the rocker panel when the door is closed. The running boards fold around the Diesel Exhaust Fluid tank that is standard on all 2011 GM diesel-powered pickups. Each PowerStep can hold up to 600 pounds with its die-cast, high-strength aluminum-alloy linkage arms and stainless-steel pivot pins. The steps are designed not to pinch, and come with integrated LED lights. Prices start around $1200.
