The base model comes with a non-telescoping foot that works with a motor to lift the trailer. The deluxe model's manual telescoping foot eliminates the need to carry a block of wood around to lift the trailer--pull a pin, let the foot collapse down; reinsert the pin, and lift the trailer off the ball using the electric motor.
