Product Spotlight: Superlift Lift Kits for 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4s

Superlift is now offering its popular lift-kit options for the newly redesigned 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4s, with lifts in the ranges of 2.5, 4, and 6 in. Each standard kit is designed to retain the factory coil-over front struts and is designed to install with minimal frame cutting. Optional Superlift SS monotube front struts and rear shocks made by Bilstein are available.   |   2009 Dodge Ram 1500 superlift Lift Kit A Level-It strut-spacer kit raises the front end 2.5 in., which clears 35-in.-tall tires. CNC-machined nodular iron knuckles are featured on Superlift's 4- and 6-in. lift kits, which will allow the Ram to keep factory track width, turning radius, and suspension geometry. The knuckles will allow use of 37x12.50 tires on Ram trucks with OE 20x5.50 wheels. The front suspension portion of the kits feature lowering brackets designed for the front differential to clear the exhaust and front driveshaft in their preexisting locations. Full-width crossmembers relocate the factory lower A-arms, which install with minimal frame cutting. A full width skidplate/bellypan made of 1/4-in.-thick steel ties the crossmembers together, which also protects the front differential. Horizontal suspension components are assisted with Superlift anti-roll bar extensions, which work with the OE end links. Billet CV axle spacers are also part of the kit. Preload strut spacers sized 2.0 in. come standard with the 6-in. lift kit.   |   2009 Dodge Ram 1500 drivers Side View For the rear portion of the lift kit, Superlift supplies dual-rate coil springs, which add height while managing handling. Relocation brackets for the factory rear controls arms, track bar, brake lines, anti-roll bar end links, and bump stops are included with the kit. To accommodate a 6-in. lift, the 6-in. lift kit's rear system includes kit-specific coil springs and bump-stop axle brackets. The 4-in. kit allows for fitment of tire sizes up to 35x12.50, while the 6-in. kit provides for tire sizes of up to 37x12.50. A limited lifetime warranty comes with all Superlift kits.
