Product Spotlight: Alpine IVA W203/P1 AVN System

Alpine has released an impressive all-in-one solution to in-vehicle electronics with their IVA-W203/P1 system. The new system handles audio, video, and navigation capabilities through a touch-screen, while also handling various digital media sources and Bluetooth connectivity. The system used a double-DIN 7-in. QVGA touch-screen display to control all functions. Capable of handling DVD-R/-RW/MP3/WMA audio and video files, the IVA-W203/P1 can also handle satellite radio, HD Radio with multicasting, and iPod and MP3/WMA portable players with MTP protocol. Separate adapters, tuner boxes, and service subscriptions might be needed. alpine Iva W203p1 screen   |   alpine Iva W203p1 screen iPod connectivity is handled though Alpine's KCE-422i Full Speed Connection for iPod cable. The IVA-W203/P1 Is then able to show advanced digital media tag information by displaying artist, album, song, and playlist data. The IVA-W203/P1's navigation features include: - Preloaded NAVTEQ map data of the United States and Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
- Four intuitive map viewing options, including 3D mapping, 2D full map, split map, and turn-by-turn arrow view.
- Preloaded unique Points of Interest, including restaurants, hotels, and gas stations.
- Turn-by-turn instructions delivered by Text-To-Speech technology, which announces actual street names. Directions may be given in English, Spanish, or French.
