Lifting a 4WD exposes its frame, and the higher you lift, the more prominent it becomes. Rail Wraps frame panels feature the laser-cut flaming Superlift logo, and the truck frame shows through the logo cutout for a 3-D effect. Applications are available for late-model American 4WDs equipped with Superlift F.I.T. series lift kits, as well as for Ford Super Duty and Dodge Heavy Duty trucks that have non-Superlift suspension systems. For more information, please contact Superlift Supension Systems, Dept. TR, 300 Huey Lenard Loop, West Monroe, LA 71292, (800) 551-4955, www.superlift.com. Bring on the Boost
Edge's Jammer BB Turbo for 1994-2005 Dodge diesels provides both fast spool-up for snappy acceleration and increased airflow to help keep EGTs down, especially while towing. Compared to conventional bronze thrust bearings, the Jammer BB's ceramic ball bearings allow the turbo to spool up 25% faster and are more resilient under high-temperature shut-offs. Edge is so confident of the Jammer BB's quality that it backs the turbo with an unconditional one-year free-replacement guarantee on parts. Designed with towing in mind, the Edge Jammer BB Turbo adds 25 hp to stock Cummins applications and supports up to 500 hp to enhance other aftermarket upgrades. Edge Products recently introduced their Evolution programmer for 2004-06 Ford F-150s. The programmer adds three levels of performance and can switch between the three levels in 20 seconds. Level 1 focuses on increasing transmission shifting performance; Level 2 is for economy on regular fuel; and Level 3 is all about power and can add up to 35 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque. The programmer mounts permanently inside the cab and also functions as a digital gauge, displaying up to four engine functions simultaneously, including fluid temperatures, engine load, and RPM. You can even set the unit to sound a warning if temperatures get too high. Diagnostically, the Evolution reads, describes, and clears "check engine" codes. Especially important for lifted trucks, it also recalibrates the speed signal to show actual road speed on F-150s running non-stock tire heights and/or aftermarket gear ratios as well as modifying the factory speed- and rev-limiters. For more information, contact Edge Products Inc., Dept. TR, 1080 S. Depot Dr., Ogden, UT 84404, (888) 360-3343, www.edgeproducts.com. 20/20 Hindsight

Goodbye Gremlins
Brea Auto Electric's Speed Sensor Re-Locator has a solution for electrical gremlins brought on by rear-end swaps. In many newer vehicles, the ECM, electronic transmission, speedometer, and, in some cases, the ABS, will not function when the rear-end sensor speed is removed during a rear-end change. BAE's Re-Locator, which is permanently attached to the drive shaft yoke, provides precise OEM equivalent speed sensor pick-up and information transfer for flawless operation of all related electronic components. The OEM magnetic speed sensor is utilized and attaches off the transmission using owner-supplied hardware or an optional BAE bracket. For application and pricing details, please contact Brea Auto Electric, Dept. TR, 271 N. Orange Ave., Brea, CA 92821, (714) 256-2412, www.breaautoelectric.com. On the Level
Cognito Motorsport's 2-inch leveling kit for 2001-and-newer 8-lug GM trucks allows you to fully level your truck without sacrificing factory ride quality. If a lift is desired, the kit can be adjusted to 3 inches. The kit also eliminates torsion bar cranking, which can cause excess stress on the upper ball joints as well as shock failure. The upper arm supplied with the kit will realign your ball joints in order to offer you bind-free articulation throughout the suspension cycle. Cognito also supplies a shock extender bracket to give full suspension travel using your factory shocks. Aftermarket ball joints are also supplied (because there's no point in reusing the old ones). In this one hour, 40 minute video/DVD, Ron Covell and Joe McGlynn collaborate on a project inspired by the Rod & Custom Dream Truck. You'll see top chopping, sectioning, and hood pie-cutting shown in clear detail, with an ongoing commentary that brings out many of the fine points of the project. While this is serious metalworking, Ron and Joe show how it can be done with basic tools in the home shop. For more information, contact Covell Creative Metalworking, Dept. TR, 106 Airport Blvd., Suite 105, Freedom, CA 95019, (800) 747-4631, www.covell.biz
