Auto Insurance Claims: Driving along the freeway i hit a rock., exact answers, insurance company

   I was driving along the freeway here in CA when I hit a very small rock I didn't even realize I had hit. The rock caused a leak in my radiator and I drove it overheated and the engine is gone. How do you think the insurance company will take this if I file a claim? The estimate for the fix is 5000$ as its a new car.

Since I am not reading your policy, I don't even know if this damage would be covered. The best person for you to ask for exact answers, is your agent. The agent can tell you what is and is not covered under your policy. If not covered, the agent can explain why.
