Auto Insurance Claims: Your perspecttve, Your perspecttve, damages

Question
Dear Anne,

I know that you're an expert in auto insurance claim process so I would appreciate your help. I hired an attorney to file a lawsuit on my behalf and at the beginning the insurance in-house attorney was handling my lawsuit, but now a private attorney is handling it.

My attorney cannot give me any answers as to why so I’m seeking your advice, knowledge, and expertise in this matter. I am worried about my lawsuit not being taken seriously or not be compensated for my injuries which left me with hand disabilities, and prompted me to go on work disability retirement.  I have been anxiously worried and it's been bothering me as to what the reasons are. I'm worried about my lawsuit not being taken seriously as it is. Also, I'm worried about losing my case or the outcome won’t be in my favor.

Thank you very much in advance.

Answer
Hello Vanessa,

This is really not a claim question so I cannot really help you. You need to address your issues with your attorney. You need to feel like you can trust them and that they are on top of the situation. Contact your lawyer and see where your case is at.

If the lawyer does not answer, consider hiring a different lawyer so you can move your case forward. You are owed, at least, the right to know where your case is and where it is headed.

I am sorry for not being able to help more.

Anne
