Auto Insurance Claims: hit and run, personal injury attorney, herniated disc

Question
I was injured in a hit and run a little over 3 years ago.  I ended up with 5 herniated disc.  My insurance company took car of fixing my car.  I'm still in the process of doing an uninsured/under insured claim.  As of todays date i still have no mobility in my neck. I live in Pa. I have limited tort.  The adjuster told me that within the next 30 days they will make an offer.  My question is can i make them pay for all of my future medical bills that is related to the wreck?

Answer
The short answer is that yes, future medical bills should be considered as part of your claim. But I'm not familiar with PA law so I don't know what limitations apply to your claim.

2 things to consider:

(1)  check the statute of limitations to make sure you do not let it expire.   Your claim is worthless ocne it expires unless you have filed a lawsuit in advance.  Most states do not go beyond 3 years.

(2)  your claim sounds serious and you may need legal advice to handle it properly.  You may want to confer witha personal injury attorney to make asure you have considered everything - most will allow a free consultation.
