Auto Insurance Claims: is she covered, own insurance, insurance company

Can my 17 year old sister drive my vehicle from home to school and be covered. we have full coverage, adn she has liabilt.

Hi Jenn,
You need to contact your insurance company and add your sister as a driver.  Also let them know that she has her own insurance.

There may be a charge for this.

If you allow her to regullary use your car, or if she lives in the household, The insurance company would have legal grounds to deny any coverage for an accident in which she was the driver because she is not a named driver on your policy.
