Auto Insurance Claims: Some Questions, car insurance policy, two brothers

Question
Can two brothers be listed as the named insured on a car insurance policy if one of both of them is unmarried? What if only one is unmarried?

Does having kids affect any of the answers to the question above?

Is it possible if both of them have never been married before or only one has been married before and isn't divorced?

Answer
Hi Kristen,

Here's the way it works;

All licensed driver who live in the household where the vehicle is located must be listed on the policy as drivers. Anyone who does not live in the household can drive the car and is covered even though they are not listed on the policy. This is the simplest way I can explain it. Apply your various situations to the above and your questions should be answered.

I hope this helps
