Auto Insurance Claims: insurance claim denied, own insurance, insurance claim

Question
I was rear ended by a woman in a suv and she damaged my rear bumper and rear light.  After 5 weeks her insurance company is denying my claim due to liability dispute.  The woman's says she did not hit me and she did not have any damage on her car.  What can I do?  I don't want to pay my 500 deductible to my insurance company.  The damage to my car was over 950.00.  Thank You.

Answer
Hi Leanna,

Unfortunately, about the only thing you can do when there is disputed liability is to either file the claim on your own insurance or you can file a law suit against the at-fault person. You would present your evidence and any witnessess to the judge and the judge will decide liability.

I hope this helps
