Auto Insurance Claims: truck accident and person at fault has no insurance, fault states, siut

My husband was in an auto accident where the person at fault states he purchased the vehicle from a "friend" 60 days ago but the vehicle is still in the sellers name who is responsible for the accident neither has insurance?We live in Wisconsin

Hi Scott,

Since neither of them have insurance, the person driving the vehicle who caused the accident would be responsible.

If it becomes necessary that you file a law siut in this case, it would be recommended that you file suit against both of them. That way a jusde can decide who is responsible for what.
