Auto Insurance Claims: Rebuilt title, maughan, sacramento ca

Can you answer a question about buying a vehicle with a "rebuilt" title?  Should the price be considerably lower, would resale be a problem, and would insurance be hard to obtain? An RV has a rebuilt title we've been told, because it had a fire in the wiring. It is for sale.

Hi Jean-

I'm assuming a rebuilt title is the same as a salvaged title.  From an insurance prospective, I know the company I represent insures them, but you would recieve less than with a clean title as value if it were totaled.  
That should answer the first 2 questions as well.  It is worth less and it may be a problem on resale.
