Auto Insurance Claims: suspended liscence, insurance comapny, licsence

Question
I was involved in an accident where a 3rd party went straight through an intersection (while driving in the left turn lane) while the light was red. I was making a left hand turn on a green light and the other driver crashed into the side of my vehicle. When an officer arrived they informed me that my liscence had been suspended. I re-instated it in August but they had suspended it again in Oct. (which I was never informed of) It was clearly the other parties fault. Will I have a problem with the insurance companies paying out on the accident since my licsence is suspended?

Answer
Hi Amanda,

There should be no problem here. The fact that your license was suspended does not take away from the fact that the other driver was at fault. Just pursue the claim against the other insurance comapny.

I hope this helps
