Auto Insurance Claims: Detail shop ran my vette into a wall!, hole shots, diminished value

I took my 2000 corvette convert to the local detail shop for its "every other week detail". Even though the car has just 27000 miles on it it is black and I keep it perfect, every time I drive it it must get washed. Well, when I went back to pick the car up it was in the shop. Fender, hood, nose rim on the drivers side completely wrecked. As it turns out a 18 y/o employee was doing hole shots in my baby (manually disengaged the traction control), lost control and ran it into a wall. There insurance is willing to only repair the car, my argument is that the vehicle that has NEVER seen rain or snow is now blemished for life via car fax. To disclose 13k in damage is going to be a reseller killer......they will hear nothing of it! Sorry too bad is all they say! here's the damage estimate and an add order. What are my rights for future damages on my "collector car"....I live in Indiana

I understand your feeling. You are entitled to be compensated for the diminished value of your vehicle regardless of what they say.
