Auto Insurance Claims: stolen work tooks out of KS driveway, electric power tools, stolen work

I drive a company van but have all my own construction work tools.  Last night someone broke out the window got in and took all my big electric power tools. I live in KS.  I did not have a separate policy for my tools.  Does my renters ins cover any of it?  What type of policy should I have? help.

It is possible that your renters policy will cover some of the items in the van, however, there may be coverage limits. As far as the coverage you need, you should talk to your insurance agent to determine if you can schedule your tools on your renters policy or if you need a different type of policy altogether.
