i have a project car for my sons first car i would like to buy a totaled car for parts could i get one from a insurance company

Hi Steve,

As a general rule, insurance companies do not sell totalled vehicles to individuals. They only deal with large salvage auction compaies. In most cases to buy a salvage car from a salvage auction you must be a licensed salvage buyer.

You may try talking to some body shops. They may be able to help you locate and buy an appropriate vehicle.
