Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Blower Motor Resistor?, blower motor resistor, mitchell on demand

I have a 2002 Chevy Impala V6 3.4L. Can you tell me where the blower motor resistor is exactly located, I have had people tell me all different locations and I'm not sure. Maybe you can refer me to a website that has pictures. Thanks

Hello Joe, The blower resistor is locate near the the blower motor. Locate the motor and the resistor is mounted next to it. There resistor normally is hot so they need to be near the blower to be cooled. I work for Lexus and all dealer parts dept. computers  have picture diagrams to locate parts for the techs. The resistor will have a wire connector or harness that is attached to it.When I return to work on Monday,I`ll check Mitchell-on-demand at my shop if I can better inform you.
