Auto body repair & detailing: Dent Puller Tool, hail stones, chevy celebrity

Question
Mike,
We recently had a bad hail storm.  My son's car (1986 Chevy Celebrity 4 door) that we just had repainted last summer,  was hit by several large hail stones (about 2 inches in diameter) on every section of car.  We only carry liability coverage,  so we would be out all expenses to have repaired.  I recently bought a dent puller (suction-type) from Northern Tool Co. for $20.00,  but there are no instructions on how to use the tool.  I would like to help the kid out as he cherishes the car because it was given to him by his great-grandparents when they died a couple of years ago.  How do you use this tool?  Thank you for your response.

Answer
That tool will probably not work in your situation. Go online and look for a Ding King, I'm not so sure as to whether that will do the exact job you want but it will be better than a the suction cup. One problem with the Ding King is it's usually only good on factory paint. You can also check with some of the car lots around and ask them if some one around town is doing paintless dent repair.
