Question -
Reckless driver hit the bumper of my 2006 Honda Odyssey yesterday, making a 1/2 inch deep inch in diameter dent with a crack on one side.
I really don't care about thing behind the cover.
Just want to fix a cover.
I'm thinking to take it out and apply hot iron from inside to flatten it up.
any other suggestions?
Please advise.

Use a heat gun or hair dryer from the under side and push it out with a wet cloth.

You may be able to go to a Honda dealership and ask them to run a copy of the repair procedures from their repair manual. Or you can get a Chilton repair manual at a local auto supply store. They also have other name brand repair manuals as well. The bumper cover is just a few bolts and a few screws and a couple clips holding it on. I know it sound easy but finding them is the hard part.
