I lost a window regulator in my 04 ford 150xlt
extended cab driver side door. ? how do I remove
the door panel with out damaging the panel

Gary,Ford uses two different methods for attaching trim panels depending on where they were built.Some use screws around the inside handle and clips around the perimeter of the trim panel.And the other type slides down into place.Open the door and gently pry the panel away to see what type of fasteners you have.If you have clips, a trim panel tool is best,but a long pair of needle nose pliers around where the clip attaches to the panel will also work.Gently pry away from the door and repeat for each clip.If you have the slide style there should be only 2screws and you will be able to slide the panel upwards.Take your time and look around for any hidden clips and screws and don`t force anything to remove it.If it doesn`t come apart easily look for more screws or clips.
