Auto body repair & detailing: Questions to ask an auto body repair shop, free loaner cars, auto body shops

Question
I was recently rear-ended in an accident. My car is less than a month old (2007 Camery) My car dealership does not have an autobody shop.  So, I was wondering what questions should I be asking the auto body shops, to insure my car is fixed correctly?

Answer
You should ask them if they have ASE certified technicians. And what warranties they have on there work and paint work. Ask them if they will use new parts on your car being that it is a new car. Ask them not to use after market parts as well. Ask them if they have free loaner cars while your car is in the shop. The good ones will provide you with a free car to use if the damage is significant enough. Ask them what kind of equipment they have for straiting frames if there is frame damage. Ask them if they have a down draft bake booth for painting. You will get a much better paint finish in a bake booth. Ask them for a tour of the shop is it clean, free of clutter for a body shop any way. Feel free to ask me more questions if you need to. And relax a good repair shop will make your car like new again.
Thank you for the question !
