Question -
i have new rocker panels for 93 s10 blazer,where is best place to do welds,to attach new rocker?
top of rocker and face of rocker are pretty strong
underside is pretty rough, some of face ( exposed side)is rotted also

Answer -
The best thing to do is find the most solid metal that you can but try to make a straight line to but up the new panel. You should try to cut out as much of the rust as you can while still leaving some metal to weld the new panel to. At least a half inch. The bottom lip is a hard one if it is rusted gone leave as much as possible or weld a peace of new metal first. Also you may what to consider 3M panel adhesive instead of welding it is a great product and has rust prohibitors in it.

do you know where this adhesive is available in canada?

It should be available at any auto body supply store like Napa or carquest Maybe Bumper to Bumper or Federated Auto or just ask one of them I'm sure they would know where you could get it if they don't carry it. Just ask for 3M panel bond.
