Auto body repair & detailing: scratches on 04 dodge pickup, dodge pickup, turtle wax

I have several scratches on the side of my pickup due to driving to close to mesquite trees. I have buffed out using turtle wax and that seemed to help some the scratches are still visible. What else can I do?

Answer
Try using a course rubbing compound (3M makes a good one) with a high speed buffer. You can also use the compound by hand with a soft cloth, but it is a lot of work. Than reapply wax coat two or three times.
