Auto body repair & detailing: i rear ended my 1988honda accord lx into p/u truck, seeit, fues

Question
after hitting a vehicle from the rear my car was still tight and ran w/o any problems but suffered damage to the hood & front lights. after arriving home i engaged my headlights to see if they would open which they opened only part way and unable to close back fully, this in turn caused my battery to go dead. my ? is can i do something to keep my lights open in order to use my lights at night(i work at night)temporarily until i can get it fixed at the body shop. if not any idea how much the repairs will be? headlights, hood & front bumper? thank you in advance. VAL

Answer
if you look around the headlamps you will find a wireplug on each of them that gos to motors unplug them when the light are up. it will leave them up and you battery won't go dead or look for fues for headlamp doors this may or may not have them. as far as fixing the car you will have to shop around for prices sorry i can not give est without seeit in person but guessing from what you tell me i would say at lest 1500.00 sorry
