My car (1995 Honda ACCORD station wagon) was hit when parked. It has an area about 2 inches square that the paint is chipped. There doesn't seem to be a dent. Can this area be fixed or do I have to have the entire hood painted? I really can afford to have the entire hood painted. Is is dangerous to only repair the small spot?

you should be albe to get what we call a spot repair done. it should run around 100.00 or so. its where they fix the spot and paint it and around 2inchs around it you will never know it was there If the body shop painter is good. you may have to let your fingers do some walking to find a bodyshop that does it. most shops want your money so they say paint hole hood. but there are honest shops out there you just have to look or ask your ins comp for a good place .hope this helps
