Auto body repair & detailing: Paint, lifetime warr, ford ranger

Hello my name is David im from Maryland and i have a ford ranger 94 4wd i was woundering how long would it take to get the extior painted black.

thats a good ??  it counts on what type of paint job you want. if you go for a macco job it could only take around 2 days total . for sanding .taping  and cleaning.
now if you are looking for a good paint job at a good body shop. it will take around a week or two. that is what it takes at our shop .we take off all lights /mouldings/ handles/ trim on outside .ant mast. bumbers.etc.etc. so paint go's on everyting that should be painted. and no edges are missed that is what cause's paint to peel up. note : a basic paint job like from macco should run around 500.00 giving no bodywork need to be done. a great paint job like what we do . with lifetime warr. on paint. go's for around 2 to 3000.00 with no body dents.. hope this helps you out.
1 more note. if you are going black with it. you could save money by asking for laquer paint it shines just as good as the new paint out that cost 3 times the amount.
