Auto body repair & detailing: broken door, buick skylark, little at a time

hi i have a 1991 buick skylark that was broken into and it looks like they got in by taking something like a crowbar and wedging it between my door frame and my car then they pryed it apart so they could stick something in there to lift up my lock. So now the door will shut and lock but theres a gap at the top of my door where it meets the car and i wanted to know if there was anyway of bending my door back into shape or something so it will close completely?

open the window and pull the upper part of the door in .just a little at a time until it closes all the way when you shut the door or go to a trusted bodyshop and ask them to do it it may cost you a good tip  but still cheaper than buying a new door  hope this helps
