Auto body repair & detailing: 97 Chevy Beretta leaks, chevy beretta, beretta gt

Question
Our '97 Chevy Beretta GT leaks.  When we take it through a car wash, it sounds like water is running through the doors.  Eventually the carpet in the floor pan gets wet on both the driver and passenger side front.  However, the only portion of the floor pan that gets wet is the floor or horizontal part.  The wall of the floor pan (the vertical parts underneath the door and next to the console) do NOT get wet.

The leak does not appear to be from underneath the car because when we drive the car into the car wash stall, we drive over a sprayer that soaks the bottom of the car.  That does not cause the floor pan to get wet.  We only notice water after the sides and top of the car have been sprayed.

The floor pans also get wet when the car is driven or left outside in the rain.

Answer
sounds like its coming from behind the kick panels on the right and leftside where your feet are best bet would be to take them out and run a garden hose around the hole door and down both sides of the winshield post . let the hose run for a while have someone smaller in car with a flash light to look around doors and kick panels. you may find your leak .
by the way you did not say if you car had a sun roof/sliding or take out . if you do look in the front of it on both sides you will see drain holes they maybe clogged to. hopethis helps
