Auto body repair & detailing: Remove tire marks, body molding, rubbing compound

Question
What would be the best type of rubbing compound to use to remove tire marks from a car body. I had a semi hit my car and left tire marks on both doors and body molding. There were no dents just heavy rubber makrs from the tires are left on my car. Any suggestions. I do have a Black and Decker buffer.
Thanks for your help
Tom

Answer
Use a high grit hand rubbing compound with your buffer. go easy it will take it off, but go slow so you dont heat up the original paint and burn through it. then use a lighter compound to take out the heavier compound swirls.

        Hope this helps
