Auto body repair & detailing: hail damage, broken windshield, hail damage

Question
My Toyota T-00 truck suffered a lot of hail damage including a broken windshield. The insurance adjuster told me that hail does not scratch the paint any way or anywhere on a vehicle.
The hail was large and covered the ground. There are scratches on my truck that were not there before.Every one I talk to says hail can damage the paint.who is right

Hail can break when hitting a solid object Causing scratches. If you adjuster will not help you tell him or her you want to speak to there supeperior. Be persistant. do not take no for an anser. You are totaly in the right
