Auto body repair & detailing: Removing Dried Tree Sap, razor blade, tree sap

Question
Brian,

I have a '93 red Saturn SL2 with some really bad tree sap that had dried to the hood and roof.  I'm afraid to scratch it off with a razor blade and the spray on "bug/tar/sap" remover you buy from the store doesn't work.  Any ideas?

Answer
You need to apply the remover on liberally letting it soak in. Do not do this in direct sunlight it dries to quickly.
If that doesnt work go to your auto supply store and get something stronger like pre-clean or whip. it should work fine for you.

          Hope this helps
