Auto Glass: 98 Nissan Altima Windshield, nissan altima, amount of snow

Hi Kevin,

Due to a lot of highway driving, my windshield has a nice big crack on it and a few branches, which though, are not blocking driving vision. Where I live in a place that snows a lot and small amount of snow could come through from the crack.

My 98 Altima is over 250000km now. And I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to replace the windshield. What do you think?

Yes, definitely get your windshield replaced.  (I am assuming the crack is too large to be repaired.)  Large cracks can compromise the structural integrity of the windshield.  For the safety of you and your passengers, I would strongly suggest you get it replaced as soon as possible.
