QuestionHi, i'm looking for a DUCT ASSY, REAR VENTILATOR ORNAMENT, RH partnumber: 55870-95J01 for my Toyota Hiace build 1986. I've asked my dealer in the Netherlands and partsellers in Belgium, Germany, Russia and even in Japan and the only answer i get is that its not available anymore! Hi Luud, I sincerely regret not being of help to you in your search to find that part (I am not a part dealer). From the picture you uploaded, I may suppose either that it was taken from the other side (LH) of your car or of another car if it is not a symmetrical piece.
As plastic repairman, I have to make not available parts from scratch.
This particular part seems to be the one that if symmetrical,will fit in the other side vent duct by just turning it. And could be taken as a model to fabricate a similar part.
A friend of mine, will fly from here to Utrecht by the end of this month.
Consider this: If you provide me with dimensions, drawings and measurements
of this part, I could make that part and send it to you free of charge but
you would have to become a subscriber and buy my repair Manual.
I would need just a Day to make it out from a polystyrene black 2 m.m. sheet
which I have available.
I live in Colombia. Therefore it has to be done quickly.
