Auto Parts: rav 4, projector head, pep boys

Question
hey, i have a rav 4 1994 model, i want to change the headlights to the angel eyes bmw looking lights heres a url to ebay where u can find them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99-00-RAV4-JDM-ANGEL-EYES-PROJECTOR-HEAD-LIGHT...

anyway there were quite a few selling and one of them said fits all models from 1994 to 2000. and this one which i gave the link to said 98 to 2000. now the one that included 94 year dont ship to my adress but the 98 to 2000 one said it can. but both lights are the same. same shape same everything.  theres also another one on ebay, (same shape etc) that said fits 98 and 99 models and also 95 to 97 models but slight wiring modification required.

my question is since esp with the one that fit all models from 94 to 2000 shouldnt the other fit them too seeing as one pair did for those years?

and if they need some sort of modification like wiring etc do u know exactly what u need?

i want to make sure they fit etc, they seem same size already before i order them.

if not do u know of any angel eye lights for rav4 94 model that i can buy online. i live in caribbean, the ones i saw that most deffinately fit my model will not ship here.

thank u soo much for your time!!

Answer
Hi Krishna,

I apologize but my interchange program does not list that Toyota made a Rav4 prior to 1996.

As far as your question. I think it would be best to ask the seller of the item. If they don't give you a definitive answer, don't buy it from them. Likewise, if they state that if it does not fit your vehicle they won't take it back, don't buy from them.

My advice on finding a good technician is: Steer clear of the dealership and 'chain' stores like Firestone, Sears, Pep Boys, Monro Muffler/Brake, Midas, etc. as they usually only employ ONE ASE Certified Tech just so they can say they do and chances are, that guy is the asst. manager or manager and is not in the store to diagnose/repair vehicles anyway. Find a service location in the link below or get some names out of the yellow-pages and do a drive-by. Garages that employ ASE Certified Technicians will be marked with the 'Blue-Seal' insignia. If unsure about whether a place employs Certified Techs, just ask to see their credentials. ALL ASE Certified Technicians will be PROUD to show and display their certificate(s).

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
