Auto Parts: camry computer, bad computer, hi chris

Hello, I am so frustrated. The mechanic has had my 1990 camry for 13 days. He said it would take 3 to 5 days to fix the computer in it. He sent it out then they picked it up and they will send it back. The fix it man has had it for 6 days. does it usually take this long? We found out it was the computer caused by the air flow system,box, any answers will help

Hi Chris,

A used one would probably have cost you less and you'd have had it sooner. It sometimes take a few times to 'flash' a bad computer to get it operational again.
