QuestionQUESTION: front brakes quit working on my 91 dodge one ton pickup, the truck has the Cummins diesel engine.the truck has anti skid brakes,I checked and its getting fluid to the front calipers any help would be appreciated
ANSWER: Hi Robert,
I'm not certain what you mean by they quit working. If fluid is getting to the calipers under pressure, then the only thing left is the caliper. If it's froze, it isn't going to work.
In order to get a good answer to your question, you need to give me some DETAILS. not just that they quit.
Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.

QUESTION: I rebuilt the left back wheel cylinder,a few days later as I came to a stop the pedal felt strange, and the front brakes havn't woked since,I have bleed all the wheels could it be the valve where the line go into from the master cylinder? The calipers could be stuck I suppose, but I just thought it odd that both would stick at the sametime.Thank You Very Much.
AnswerHi Robert,
I would check the proportioning valve. If you have a 'brake' light ON, Check to see if the button is out on the front side of the valve. Sometimes they do stick but it's rare.
Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
