Auto Parts: key wont turn, 1999 infiniti qx4, infiniti qx4

the key won't turn in my 1999 infiniti qx4...about amonth ago it started every once in a while now it won't turn at all

The most common problem is the key being worn enough that it wont disengage all of the tumblers in the ignition switch or that the igntion switch itself is malfunctioning. Your best bet is to have the ignition switch replaced and you will recieve a new key in the process and shoudlnt run you mroe then $60 - $100 including labor.
