Car Alarms: beepbeepbeepbeep!

Question
2009 Toyota Tacoma with aftermarket Audiovox alarm.  Rarely enable the system over last three years.  I have been using daily in the last month.  Several times a day (and night), when enabled, a short blast of four "beeps" sound for no reason or cause??  Please help me...and the neighbor!   Thx

Not certain of the system, but MOST knock/impact
sensors have a wheel inset into it to turn up or down
(counter clockwise is down).

Locate the sensor under the dash and turn down or
simply unplug it. Should be a little oblong box
wire tied up high under the dash, and would
blink when it detects vibration.
