Car Alarms: car alarm preventing me to start my Infinity I30, flip switch, security light

Question
Put new battery in car and everytime I put key in and try to start it, the horn goes on and off.  The security light on dash is not on.  I remember it flashing in the recent past.  The key is not the original and the car FOB doesn't seem to work..I replaced battery in GOB with no results..maybe needs to be re-programmed?

Ok, try, key on just before cranking,
press and hold in the button for
up to 5 seconds or until you get a
responce from your siren, & lights.

Then key off. This should be reset.
Try to start it.

If it's a toggle type switch found,
key on, flip switch in oposite direction,
key off.

This would be override.
Try and start the car.

Repeat these steps to go back into
arming mode when ready.
