Car Alarms: help with alarm, 1991 toyota camry, toyota camry

I have a 1991 Toyota camry. it had the TDS alarm installed on the car when I bought it. My car would not start on Saturday, and then the horn started going off. The car still will not turn over so I think we may need to disable the alarm as it maybe causing a glitch. we have checked the batter, fluid pump and those are fine. hope you can tell me if this is a safety feature with the alarm and what to do.
