Car Alarms: code alarm sure start, battery failure, ford dealership

Question
2001 Lincoln Navigator. Had auto battery failure, replaced. Car will not start, checked starter, ok. Tried everything in owners manual no help. Does alarm need to be reset and if so how? No start, start relay chatters or locks pull and no start. I am at wits end. If there is an original factory reset number I don't have it. I bought the car used.

Answer
It's likely the transponder (PATS) system
needs resetting and the only
way there is through the Ford dealership
service department.

Sorry, I know it's unfair, but
that's how they set it up.

Good luck.
