Car Stereos: car stereo, infinity gold, jeep cherokee

I have a 1998 jeep cherokee and it has the Infinity Gold sound system in it  I
hooked up a pioneer CD deck and I am not getting any sound .

Hi Brad.

Yeah you probably forgot to connect the blue/white wire coming out the vehicle harness to the blue/white wire coming out your radio this is a common mistake, see your vehicle's sound system works with factory amplifiers, every speaker its factory amplified, so when you change the factory head unit those amplifiers loose power so, you need to send them the turn on signal, thats why you need to connect the amplifier turn on lead on your radio to the factory harness.
